In first step, the part was made by welding 6 machined titanium part on a titanium plate.

AFTER TARAMM was involved

To optimize above part, TARAMM has implemented following features :

  • Hollowing out
  • Ribs
  • Linking the nozzles with stiffeners

The result was :

  • a mass reduction of 20%,
  • a higher mechanical rigidity
  • a cost reduction
